President Barack Obama in a Moment of Silence during the 15th Anniversary Memorial of 9/11 – September 11, 2016
Today is the 15th Anniversary of 9/11 – a day that changed the course of history in the United States and the World.
District Deeds honors all of our pubic servants that keep us safe and watch over our nation 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days of the year,
Our Military who are deployed worldwide leaving their families to bravely serve in the most dangerous areas of the world and serve domestically in the U.S. to prevent attacks.
Civil Servants in our Government Organizations like Homeland Security that strive every day to uncover and prevent threats and attacks.
Our Police, Firefighters and First Responders who are ever vigilant to watch over our homeland and are willing to risk their lives every day to serve and protect our families and loved ones.
And finally, to those who have been injured or given up their lives and their families due to acts of terror…you are NOT forgotten and we think about and honor you every day.
Here is the memorial speech given today from the Pentagon by President Obama to survivors and families of 9/11:
Please remember to have your own Moment of Silence today to honor all of those who have given their lives and continue to protect all of us with their courageous service.
