Incompetent San Diego Unified School District (SDUSD) Supt. Cindy Marten has promoted her handpicked crony Serra High School Principal with a fake PH.D according to a report from Channel 7 News San Diego.

The article states:

“From the beginning the issues with Mr. Mays were about his leadership, his treatment of female staff members, and his personal academic record. Every claim we brought forward was supported by data, survey results, witness reports, and careful research,” Ralf Ubel, one of the teachers who filed the complaints, told NBC 7 in a previous interview.

Marten, with only her Elementary School Human Resource experience to rely on, had failed to professionally screen the Serra High School Principal credentials, ignored the complaints from Serra staff for over a year and did absolutely nothing as we outlined in the June section of A 12 MONTH DISASTER!!! 2015/1016 SDUSD Supt. So what did the corrupt, incompetent Supt. Cindy Marten do when faced  with the fact that she had HAND PICKED a crony Principal with obviously NO vetting of his fake PH.D?

Marten FINALLY removed him from Serra and GAVE HIM A PROMOTION! – District Deeds

Again, according to the Channel 7 report –

“Sadly, my last day at Serra will be Friday, August 12th,” Vincent Mays wrote Wednesday in an email to parents of Serra High School.

He explained that the San Diego Unified School District extended an offer Tuesday for a new position.

“The position is so attractive that I could not refuse it. It will expand my role regarding equity initiatives,” Mays wrote. – Channel 7 News

Just like how Supt. Cindy Marten was promoted because of who she knew (yes Richard), despite her total lack of credentials, Marten has used her inexperience and lack of ethics to further destroy the morale of the SDUSD with this improper promotion.

SDUSD STAFF!

ways to get a promotion from “Partners” Cindy Marten/Richard Barrera

1. Have fake or inadequate credentials

2. Have worse credentials than Marten

3. Be a Crony of Marten or Trustee Barrera

4. Be willing to completely betray your ethics (if you plan on keeping your job).

5. Endlessly Suck Up to Marten and her Senior Staff 

How ironic that the unfair promotion of the principal who apparently lied about his credentials and demeaned female staff will be to a position addressing “equity initiatives”

This could only exist in the dystopian SDUSD culture created by Superintendent Cindy Marten and her “partner” Trustee Richard Barrera.
