As part of the April Fools Day tradition, District Deeds posted a “News Flash” on April 1st (April 1st News Flash Link) describing how the SDUSD Board of Education split up the Superintendent  role into High School, Middle School and Elementary School Superintendent positions.

It was an April Fools Day joke!

At the bottom of the post we wished readers “Happy April 1st” and provided a link in the post that sent the reader to a video of Rick Astley singing “Never Gonna Give You Up”…which is a classic April Fools Day internet meme called “Rickrolling”.  Here is the link to the Wikpedia definition…really 😉  : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rickrolling
