Today we celebrate Juneteenth, the  oldest national celebration of the abolishment of slavery in the United States.

As an active supporter for the educational equity of ALL African American Students we remember and honor the brave fight by thousands of African American advocates against the systemic racism that still exists today in the San Diego Unified School District (SDUSD).
