Happy Holidays from District Deeds!!!

Like all of our readers, the holidays are a very special and very busy time of the year.

Getting the homestead decorated, making good food to share with loved ones and especially spending lots of time with family and friends to celebrate good cheer and make new memories.

In our household, focusing on the massive San Diego Unified School District dysfunction and damage to Students, Parents, Teachers and Staff is the antithesis of spreading “Holiday Cheer”.

This year has been especially busy with the multiple initiatives we have launched in 2023 through the District Deeds SDUSD Honesty, Accountability, and Transparency HAT Trick initiative.  We want to thank all of our readers for their ongoing encouragement and support.

Although we continue to encourage our readers to participate in the survey by sending us a request for the survey link via email to districtdeeds@gmail.com we understand that your very first priority should be enjoying time off from work (if possible) and enjoying the holidays.

Therefore this year we will be following our own advice.

For the first time in 9 years with (at least) a weekly post, District Deeds is planning to go on hiatus with no posts for the next two weeks.  We will return with our final post of 2023 on Sunday, January 31, 2023…New Years Eve.

District Deeds Disclaimer:  IF we uncover an important SDUSD story during this 2 week period, we will be sure to post that information immediately for all our readers.

We hope everyone has a safe, happy and healthy holiday season and we look forward to seeing all of you all again on New Years Eve 2023.

ENJOY and BE SAFE!!!

Now for our quote of the week….

It is a miracle if you can find true friends, and it is a miracle if you have enough food to eat, and it is a miracle if you get to spend your days and evenings doing whatever it is you like to do, and the holiday season – like all the other seasons – is a good time not only to tell stories of miracles, but to think about the miracles in your own life, and to be grateful for them, and that’s the end of this particular story.  – Daniel Handler
