INTRODUCTION

Over the past 11 months District Deeds has implemented our 2023 San Diego Unified School District (SDUSD) Honesty, Accountability and Transparency (HAT Trick) Resolution.

In January through June, 2023 we published the SDUSD HAT Trick Handbook.

In June through August, 2023 we published our District Deeds Summer Edition where we provided relevant “summer reading” articles and commentary during the sub par, calendar reduced, miserable excuse for “summer school” from the SDUSD.

This autumn, 2023 we launched the ongoing “Speak Your Truth” initiative where ALL SDUSD Stakeholders are able to embrace the role of “Whistleblower” and share their damaging and corrupt SDUSD education/employment experiences with ALL other SDUSD Stakeholders and Readers.

Two weeks ago on November 19, 2023, we introduced our fourth and final San Diego Unified School District HAT Trick initiative – the HAT Trick Survey.

Here is a brief description from that post describing the opportunity for ALL SDUSD Stakeholders to give their opinion and A – F grade of the current state of SDUSD Honesty, Accountability and Transparency:

To accomplish this HAT Trick Survey task we will be using the following Four Step process to launch the new initiative:

Step 1: Create two identical Surveys asking recipients the following six questions:

  • What is your current perception/definition of “HONESTY” in the San Diego Unified School District?
  • What is your recommendation for improved “HONESTY” in the San Diego Unified School District?
  • What is your current perception/definition of “ACCOUNTABILITY” in the San Diego Unified School District?
  • What is your recommendation for improved “ACCOUNTABILITY” in the San Diego Unified School District?
  • What is your current perception/definition of “TRANSPARENCY” in the San Diego Unified School District?
  • What is your recommendation for improved “TRANSPARENCY” in the San Diego Unified School District?

Along with these 6 questions the HAT Trick survey provides an opportunity to rate the SDUSD using an A through F grade for the current status of SDUSD Honesty, Accountability and Transparency.

Step 2: Distribute Identical Surveys

  • Identical Survey 1 will be sent to District Deeds contacts (Group 1) that have contributed/supported the full investigation of the corrupt SDUSD in the past.
  • Identical Survey 2 will be provided to any stakeholders/readers (Group 2) that send a “Request to be Surveyed” to districtdeeds@gmail.com

Step 3: Gather the answers and results from each survey response and present them in posts through the end of the 2023 and beyond.

Step 4: Archive cumulative results including grades and conclusions and provide next steps in the final District Deeds Post of 2023 on New Years Eve, Sunday, December 31, 2023 to form the NEW District Deeds 2024 New Year Resolution.

District Deeds will be encouraging our readers to participate in the survey via short posts and social media messages over the final weeks of 2023.

Be sure to request your Survey at districtdeeds@gmail.com TODAY!!!

District Deeds continues to receive many responses for this Survey and, for the next 2 or 3 weeks (depending on the ongoing response), we will be posting the most relevant and timely responses and results to our readers.

We have decided to let the SDUSD Stakeholder Community speak for themselves though both the HAT Trick Survey and Speak Your Truth initiatives with minimal editorializing.

We will mostly limit our editorializing to our final post of 2023.

We also understand that many SDUSD Stakeholders, both employees and families fear retribution from the corrupt Board of Education and senior leadership so we are protecting our survey respondents with a complete cloak of anonymity for any and all surveys and other types of communication we have with them.  Here is our ALERT regarding that issue from last week:

DISTRICT DEEDS ALERT:  ALL contributions from SDUSD Stakeholders are covered with COMPLETE CONFIDENTIALITY.  No name or identity will be revealed in any District Deeds posts without the full approval of the contributor who has full control though both the new survey and the ongoing “Speak Your Truth” initiative to remain COMPLETELY anonymous in ALL posts referring to their contribution.

DISTRICT DEEDS NOTE: Clicking on the survey sections will provide a larger, easier to read version

Here are three new HAT Trick Survey responses from the past week.  The first is from a Parent, Community Member and former Student of the SDUSD.

SURVEY RESULT 4:  3 “F”‘s

The second survey is from a long standing SDUSD Community Member.

SURVEY RESULT 5:  3  F’s

The third survey is from a former SDUSD ESL Teacher with many years of service to the SDUSD education community.

SURVEY RESULT 6:  1 D, 2 F’s

District Deeds Translation:

These 3 survey responses from SDUSD Community Members, Parents, and former employees echo the sentiment from week 1.  There is basically ZERO Honesty, Accountability and Transparency in the SDUSD based on the grades given.  Here is the current District Deeds HAT Trick Progress Report for the SDUSD Board of Education and Senior Leadership based on the first two weeks of results:

These surveys submitted over the last couple weeks represent the opinions, backed by facts, of both current and past Parents, Community Members and  employees of the SDUSD.

These responses also continue to be typical of the total responses we received for this survey.  And we will continue to post more responses from SDUSD Stakeholders on this survey in the coming weeks prior to January 1, 2024.

It is not too late for YOU, our readers, to submit YOUR responses to the District Deeds HAT Trick Survey!  Here are the instructions to do so as we said earlier in this post and last week:

  • Identical Survey 2 will be provided to any stakeholders/readers (Group 2) that send a “Request to be Surveyed” to districtdeeds@gmail.com

It is also never too late to provide your SDUSD reality to ALL District Deeds Readers through our “Speak Your Truth” initiative:

District Deeds “Speak Your Truth” Information

On August 27, 2023 we launched a new initiative in our post titled “2023/2024 – District Deeds 10th School Year…NEW “Speak Your Truth” Posting Opportunity for ALL SDUSD Stakeholders!!! where we asked for the real life experiences of San Diego Unified School District (SDUSD) Parents, Teachers, Students, Staff and Taxpayers.

Here is the “Speak Your Truth” initiative definition from that post:

Speak Your Truth” CONTINUES to inspire honesty and bravery with SDUSD Teachers, Staff, Parents and Students and given us additional insight into the deep fear of SDUSD retribution by employees and families in the toxic SDUSD work/community environment.

THANK YOU to ALL the brave SDUSD Stakeholders who continue to share their stories with us and provide deep insights into the ongoing SDUSD dysfunctional work and education environment.

Now for our Quote of the Week dedicated to today’s brave SDUSD Stakeholders above who were betrayed by the SDUSD and have had the courage to fight back against the SDUSD corruption.

They have had the courage, both by direct action and by completing the District Deeds HAT Trick Survey. to help make ALL other SDUSD Stakeholders know the truth behind the SDUSD “feel good” lies from the multi-million dollar SDUSD propaganda machine.

We hope their bravery will inspire others to build up their courage in the coming weeks to request and respond to the HAT Trick Survey and/or use the “Speak Your Truth” initiative to reach out to us at districtdeeds@gmail.com to share their perspective.

THANK YOU!
