Today and over this Veterans Day weekend 2023, District Deeds honors all active, retired and deceased Veterans and their families for their commitment and courage in selflessly contributing so much to the safety and well-being of ALL citizens of the United States.
We believe that all private and public institutions should honestly express that same gratitude to both retired military veterans and especially those active military that are charged with providing a safe and secure environment at home while they are deployed by land, sea and air.
San Diego Unified School District (SDUSD) is one of those public institutions that have that critical responsibility to “protect and serve” the children of those active and retired veterans.
In fact, the SDUSD went so far as to post a propaganda message on social media artificially promoting that fact:
In this Facebook propaganda post, The SDUSD claims to “honor” and say “thank you” (yellow highlight) to those veterans and active duty military families. They even propagandize the actual number of students of active military…”More than 7,600 San Diego Unified students” (blue highlight) implying that they actually care about those students.
Let’s analyze those SDUSD claims.
The military family student numbers from the SDUSD are only “active duty” families. There are thousands more SDUSD families and students honoring family members who are Veterans and had bravely served over the last 50 years or more.
Unfortunately the SDUSD “honors” claim (yellow highlight) is a propaganda lie backed up by the multimillion dollar legal department…like usual.
What the SDUSD does not mention is what our past three “Speak Your Truth” Whistleblowers have said about the REAL mistreatment of students, families, teachers, principals and staff.
That mistreatment of students, families, teachers, principals and staff does not exclude Veterans with SDUSD students and especially does not exclude Active Duty Military families that may have one parent deployed for long periods of time.
Our three most recent Speak Your Truth examples from a staff member, a teacher and a parent has exposed multiple examples of immoral, illegal, unkind and unethical violations of SDUSD Stakeholder rights by the SDUSD including those towards Veteran and Active Duty military families:
- Physical, mental and emotional victimization of Students, Families, Staff and Teachers
- Illegal acts
- Disrespectful acts
- Violation of trust
- Political corruption
- Financial mismanagement
- Responsibility incompetence
- Propaganda covering up physical, mental and emotional abuse
- Funding a legal department using Students, Families, Staff and Teachers tax dollars to fight against valid students, families, teachers, principals and staff lawsuits and other district offenses
THAT is the way that (highlighted in blue) the “San Diego Unified honors the sacrifice, bravery & patriotism AGAINST the rights of all U.S. veterans and active-duty military personnel.”
District Deeds Conclusion:
From the Cambridge Dictionary:
These despicable “honor” lies to Military families (and ALL students, families, teachers, principals and staff) by the SDUSD epitomizes the hypocrisy and betrayal of ALL SDUSD families by the corrupt and incompetent SDUSD Senior leadership every single day.
Until the SDUSD ACTUALLY provides a completely Honest, Accountable and Transparent education to ALL students, they are just hypocrites spreading lies.
Due to wide readership we will refrain from telling the SDUSD exactly where to stick their phony “honor” toward Veterans and their families.
We leave THAT “honor” up to our Veteran Families and readers.
District Deeds “Speak Your Truth” Information
On August 27, 2023 we launched a new initiative in our post titled “2023/2024 – District Deeds 10th School Year…NEW “Speak Your Truth” Posting Opportunity for ALL SDUSD Stakeholders!!!” where we asked for the real life experiences of San Diego Unified School District (SDUSD) Parents, Teachers, Students, Staff and Taxpayers.
Here is the “Speak Your Truth” initiative definition from that post:
“Speak Your Truth” CONTINUES to inspire honesty and bravery with SDUSD Teachers, Staff, Parents and Students and given us additional insight into the deep fear of SDUSD retribution by employees in the toxic SDUSD work environment.
THANK YOU to ALL the brave SDUSD Stakeholders who continue to share their stories with us and provide deep insights into the ongoing SDUSD dysfunctional work and education environment.
Now for our Quote of the Week dedicated to the Veterans and their families from Frederick William Robertson who, according to Wikipedia, “throughout life he was characterised by the qualities of the ideal soldier.”:
There are three things in the world that deserve no mercy, hypocrisy, fraud, and tyranny. – Frederick William Robertson
